Half

Half Nuts, also referred to as Lock Nuts or Jam Nuts, are designed to be used in conjunction with a full nut to create a locking arrangement. In this setup, the two nuts are tightened against each other to secure them in place. The Half Nut should be threaded onto the mating thread first, followed by the Hex Nut.
