Shoulder Screws

Shoulder Socket Screws, also known as shoulder bolts, feature a cylindrical, unthreaded section – referred to as the “shoulder” – located between the head and the smaller-diameter threaded portion. These screws are measured by the shoulder length only, not the threaded part. They are commonly used as mounting pins, pivot points, or to provide a bearing surface for rotating components. The unthreaded shoulder acts as a spacer or guide, allowing for smooth movement and accurate positioning of parts. They also feature a hex recess drive, making them suitable for installation in tight or confined spaces.
