Socket Head

Socket Head Screws are a specific type of screw that contains a hexagonal recess in the screwhead, designed to fit an allen key. There are various head styles available and are common when limited spanner access would make it difficult to install a hex head bolt.

Socket head screws are commonly used in machinery, automotive, electronics and furniture assembly – most commonly sold in a plain black, zinc plated or in stainless steel.
